Mechanism of Action
• GnRH Secretion: Kisspeptin-10 is a member of the kisspeptin family, which plays a crucial role in the regulation of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) secretion. It binds to the kisspeptin receptor (KISS1R), also known as GPR54, to stimulate GnRH release from the hypothalamus.
• Reproductive Function: By modulating GnRH secretion, Kisspeptin-10 is involved in the regulation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis, which is essential for reproductive function, including puberty onset, menstrual cycle regulation, and fertility.
